02: decor consulting & retail community activation

A growing decor retail & consulting brand wanted to establish itself as an early adopter on Threads, Meta’s emerging social platform. While the brand had a loyal customer base, it struggled to translate its existing presence into meaningful engagement on the new platform and needed to build a vibrant community from the ground up.

I was brought in to design a Threads-focused strategy that would:

  • build a committed and active community on the platform

  • increase engagement through brand-relevant conversations

  • position the brand as a trusted voice in a fast-moving, community-driven environment.

the strategy

  • Conduct platform and audience behaviour analysis to understand how Threads users interact with brands

  • Develop a content and engagement framework that balanced cultural relevance, user participation, and brand storytelling

  • Introduce community activation prompts (polls, discussions, trends) to spark conversation and invite user-generated content

  • Implement a posting cadence and feedback loop to adapt to platform-specific algorithms and audience preferences.

the impact

  • Achieved 4.7 million impressions and over 120,000 interactions in a single campaign cycle

  • Generated nearly 29,000 direct responses and 90,000 likes, demonstrating deep audience engagement

  • Grew Threads following to 4,765 highly engaged followers, establishing a strong brand presence on the platform

  • Strengthened the brand’s position as a community-first e-commerce leader on emerging social platforms.
